      Working with Organizing Boss was an amazing experience. I’ve always thought of myself as rather organized. However, working with Blake from the Organizing Boss opened my eyes to entirely new ways of optimizing my organization. Blake recently helped me and my partner organize and create space in a room where we’re now hosting a long-term house guest. The pre-organization consultation really helped us think through our intended goals and part with unnecessary/nonessential items. Material items have sentimental value for a lot of people, and I appreciate Blake’s nonjudgmental approach to helping clients achieve their organizational goals. In a matter of a couple of hours, we organized the guest room, organized and moved things into a closet, and identified things for donation/disposal/external storage. Blake was intentional in helping me categorize things in a way that maximizes use and access—because, as he’ll tell you, when you can’t see it and/or (easily) access it, you won’t use it. He was professional and punctual, and, as a convenience to us, he ordered some organizational tools we needed and had them shipped to our home. We’ve already asked him to come back to help us with other parts of our home, and we recommend the Organizing Boss to all those looking for more order and an effective organizational system.

      Life changing! Working with Blake and Emily was absolutely amazing. First- they’re both great listeners, and really took time to understand the various bottlenecks and problem areas that this busy mom needed help with. Emily has extensive kiddo toy knowledge so she organized our toy tornado perfectly and without needing any explaining from me! They basically changed our lives for the better in two sessions.       Blake was able to do in just two visits what I could not manage to do in almost two years. Because I used my large office walk-in closet as a storage area, I hated to spend a lot of time in my office because it was so cluttered and disorganized.  Now my office looks spacious (it always was but the clutter hid it) and organized. Blake took his time and walked me through things to keep, things I can donate, and paper I can shred.  The time went by so fast because we were having so much fun. Fun? Who has fun cleaning out a closet?  We did!

What’s the process?

1. All potential projects begin with a free 30-minute “Meet and Greet” where we’ll get to know each other, and discuss your goals and what success looks like to you.

2. Once we decide to work together, your items get sorted into keep, donate, and discard categories—or something similar that works best for your situation.

3. Many times clients need new systems—ways of keeping their belongings, items, and lives organized. If needed, we’ll research and present the best option(s) for your space, and we’ll shop and secure needed organizing products.

4. Now, the fun part—the part where everything comes together! We’ll install the new system, put everything away and in its place, and voila!

Depending upon the size and complexity of the project, this complete process can be done in one or multiple sessions/days. We’ll discuss the best path forward during the consultation, including your timeline and overall project costs.
