When it comes to packing for a trip, do you tend to over pack—to return home with many unworn and/or unused items? It’s so easy to do! We think “what if it rains?” or “what if I need a light jacket for evenings?” The “what-ifs” are plentiful!
The Organizing Boss and others shared with the Wall Street Journal our tips and tricks for packing, and I find that planning is the #1 most important part of packing a suitcase! What’s the weather forecast? What activities will I be doing? Think through those questions, and then lay out your items and what you think you’ll need. Then, remove one of everything! You won’t miss the extra shirt, pants, or shoes—and it will help avoid an overpacking situation.
